Introduction to Light*house

The Municipality of Aarhus has initiated the development of the City Harbour Areas of Aarhus. The starting signal of the actual planning of the City Harbour Areas was given when the city council of Aarhus adopted the Master Plan for Aarhus Harbour Dec. 1997.

During the years to come, a new district will be created on the northern parts of Aarhus Harbour. From this district, there will be a view of the Bay of Aarhus with a short distance to the Centre of Aarhus and recreational areas.

Light*house is the name of the winning project which will be a quite unique beginning of the work on Aarhus Harbour. The perhaps most spectacular landmark of Light*house is a multi-storey block with commercial and residential facilities, a publicly accessible SkyLounge wich a fantastic view..
